April 25, 2026 — A large scale event "WELCOME DAY at ZNU: Career Start" took place in Zaporizhzhia. The event was organized by Zaporizhzhia National University, which created an interactive platform for future graduates to navigate their choice of specialty, personally communicate with employers, and see real prospects for their future careers.

ALD Engineering and Construction acted as one of the key partners of the event. The company presented its own location to popularize engineering and construction professions and to build a direct dialogue between business and applicants.

Thanks to the opportunity to personally talk with specialists and the company founder Oleksiy Lebedev, young people were able to better understand the industry prospects and realize how they can find their place in the ALD team in the future, which is already restoring the country's infrastructure today.

During the event, Oleksiy Lebedev emphasized that integration with production and a practice oriented approach form a new model of engineering education in Ukraine.

Our departments of architecture and construction are currently involved in joint work with the company both in terms of graduate training and the development of new technologies," Halyna Shylo remarked.

Other graduates share his opinion. Schoolgirls Darya Bohuslavska and Vladyslava Rossolova are also considering choosing a construction specialty to participate in the restoration processes. Veronika Tsarytsanska added that she expects stability and opportunities for creative fulfillment from her first workplace.

Construction and engineering today are the foundation for the restoration of cities and civil infrastructure damaged as a result of the war. That is why the training and support of a new generation of specialists remains a priority for ALD Engineering and Construction.
