It is a very important object for Zaporozhye. Its construction has been expected for more than decades. It is very honorable to be involved in these large-scale works.
Several years of work on the bridges were stopped and resumed on April 10th, 2020. In July last year, large-scale work began on the girder bridge. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy opened traffic on one lane of the girder bridge across the Old Dnieper on December 24th, 2020. The largest lifting crane in Europe, Lifting Chart LK-800 (Zakhariy) arrived at the construction site at the beginning of the year. Works are in full swing on the girder and cable-stayed bridges now. The facility employs about 500 people. Work on nine facilities is carried out around the clock.
The Zaporozhians finally got a hope that the bridge will be completed this year. The construction of bridge will solve a serious transport problem for the entire Zaporozhye. Thus, a reliable transport connection between the Right-Bank and Left-Bank parts of the city will be provided.
